Dance Creative was founded in 2016 by Angela Conlan, Caroline Moss and Rhonda Sparrey.

Our vision is to:
Change lives through dance, for people living across Oxfordshire and beyond.

Provide opportunities for people of all ages to dance together

Raise awareness and tackle various issues that affect our communities and individuals lives

Our extensive community programme, including our ‘Dance for Life Oxfordshire’ hubs.
Our unique, interactive performance work combining dance, theatre, music and film.
Our intergenerational work focusing on both older people and families.

Caroline Colclough Moss

CO-FOUNDER

With over 20 years’ experience as a Dance Artist in a range of community, arts and educational settings, Caroline is also skilled in developing, managing and fundraising for community projects. Following a degree in English and Modern Languages from The University of Oxford, Caroline trained in Performing Arts at Middlesex University, specialising in Community Dance and Inclusive Practice. Caroline is the Project Manager for our Dance for Life hubs, and teaches classes in Abingdon, Bicester and Witney as part of this programme. She is a qualified Postural Stability Instructor, and also delivers classes for Age UK Oxfordshire, and the ‘Moving Tales’ Early Years dance project for The Mill Arts Centre, Banbury.

Rhonda Sparrey

CO-FOUNDER

Rhonda is a Community Dance Artist with over 20 years of experience. Her work includes teaching, choreography & performance in many settings, including schools, art centres, hospitals & care homes, and leading dance for people with Dementia & Falls Prevention. Rhonda teaches classes for our Dance for Life programme in Abingdon and East Oxford, as well as leading a Parkinson’s dance group and other schools’ based projects. Rhonda has an HND from Coventry University in Community Dance Practice, BA (Hons) in Dance Performance from Middlesex University and a National Diploma in Arts Management.

CO-FOUNDER

Angela is an experienced Arts Manager / Dance Artist. Current work includes managing the Creating with Care programme for Oxford Health, delivering dance for older people in acute/community hospital settings, and Dance and Reminiscence for Oxford Museum. Angela has a BA (Hons) in Dance from the University of Surrey, a Post Graduate qualification in Dance Performance, Level 2 Dementia Awareness training & is a Postural Stability Instructor.
