You Can Dance!
You Can Dance! is our brand new dance project for people living with long term health conditions who want to get active and moving. It is part of Active Oxfordshire’s ‘Active Reach’ project, funded by Sport England, and Cherwell District Council’s ‘Move Together’ project.
Dance is a fun, sociable & creative way to improve health – greater fitness, stronger muscles, better balance, and a happier, more focused, and calmer mind.
Our regular dance class participants tell us that dance has changed their lives in many ways, from giving them more confidence to preventing falls, decreasing blood pressure & even reducing visceral fat.
You can now discover the benefits of dance at home with You Can Dance! – an individual resource pack containing multi -sensory props, exercise equipment, an ideas booklet, and an online tutorial. You can also sign up for a free 6 week programme of introductory dance classes.
